Training Service Specific Terms

Training Purchases

All GitLab Trainings purchased pursuant to an applicable Order Form must be used within twelve (12) months of the Start Date indicated therein; failure to do so will result in cancellation of any outstanding GitLab Trainings ordered but not used within twelve (12) months of the date of the Start Date. In no event will GitLab be responsible for any refund or credit with regard to any GitLab Trainings purchased but not otherwise utilized within the foregoing time frames.

Recording

Recording and/or distribution of recordings of Training Session in any way is strictly prohibited.

Public Instructor-Led Training

Public Instructor-Led Training (“Training Days”) entitle attendees to participate in an instructor-led training course offered by GitLab and selected by the attendee to attend online (“Training”). Training can be purchased through a purchase order or via our self-serve portal using a credit card or other supported payment methods.

1. Non-Cancelable and Non-Refundable Purchases:
   All purchases of Training Days are final. They are non-cancelable, non-refundable, and non-transferable.
2. Training Validity Period:
   Training Days must be utilized within 12 months of the purchase date. Unused Training Days after this period will be forfeited without a refund.
3. GitLab's Right to Modify Training:
   GitLab reserves the right to cancel, reschedule, or substitute any Training. If changes are made, GitLab will provide at least five (5) business days’ notice before the Training's scheduled date. In the event of cancellation by GitLab, 100% of the fees paid by the customer will be credited towards a future Training date. GitLab will work with the customer to reschedule the Training.
4. Customer Cancellations or Rescheduling:
   • If you are unable to attend the Training, you must notify GitLab at least five (5) business days before the course begins by emailing training@gitlab.com. In this case, your registration may be transferred to a future Training of the same type or the next available Training.
   • If notification is not provided at least five (5) business days in advance, you will forfeit your GitLab Training Days.
   • Attendee substitutions are allowed with prior written notice to GitLab at least three (3) business days before the Training.
5. Attendance and Access:
   • Only the registered attendee may participate in the Training. Sharing access to the Training, such as allowing others to observe or otherwise participate, is strictly prohibited. Users who join the Zoom session who are not enrolled will be removed.
   • Recording of the Training session by any means is strictly prohibited.
   • Only registered attendees will receive course materials specific to the Training.
6. Missed Days and Make-Up Policy:
   Attendees may not make up missed days or transfer Training Days between courses.
7. Training Delivery by Contractors:
   GitLab may engage qualified contractors to deliver Training on its behalf.
